Wagaligong is a backpacker/restaurant/bar that opened recently in Dulan by Tienie (0972757522. and Mark(0913481-392 from South Africa

and their respective Taiwanese partners Wenling (0910-838234) and Yenya (0937-181667).

I haven't tried the food but the atmospshere, decorations all point to a South African theme, with a Taiwanese twist.

Jinluan.vietnamese restaurant. 錦鸞越南美食。

Dinner tonight in 都蘭（Dulan) was at the Jinluan Vietnamese restaurant. Donghe county. Dulan Village. No.237., tel:089-531112:. Jinluan has being open for around a year and serves up a great seafood noodles(see pic). Nt90, it is a full bowl of rice noodles, squid, (I am allergic to shrimp. I had a lemon tea at nt25, which was a real thirst quencher. The menu has a great variety of dishes, including many pork based and Vietnamese coffee. 我認為我吃的海鮮麵是很棒。有新鮮，好吃。我明天回來吃別的。

To work. Surfers were able to catch 6-7ft swell for short rides:)

Last Sunday morning was great weather as no wind, with 3-4ft swell.

Happy valentines day. Surf is flat today but at least 100 surfers out there battling for waves. The last 2 days were sloppy with rain, so no pics.

Today no pic , surf was quite sloppy, 2-4 ft swell with about 10 surfers. Swell breaking close to shore, strong rip right to left.:).

Southern end is still big with the occasional bombs, but not like yesterday. A bit windy, forget the north which is still messy.

Flat surf

This morning around 5 it was flat but started to pickup about 20 mins later as it seems to do most mornings. Main waves at the southern end, 2-3 ft at best. No wind. My thongs still missing and never to return.

It would be great if the surf was like the pic below. But it isn't. The main reason is the impending heat wave today. It is totally flat today. No surf so stay in bed.:)
